I am also fed up of the continual jibes centering around me, personally, I have messaged ronald about my concerns, I am almost at the point of investigating a legal action against a couple of these people using the new(ish) harrassment laws in the UK. It really hurts to read the comments especially those around death, a relative died recently and it is my wifes anniversary soon yet, they make it obvious in their comments that they're targetting me, anyhow, my view is quite a simple one, I think we need to face the issue very hard and use the disciplines now in the rules, this may in all probability result in some people leaving or being banned, but I think this will show the more reasonable people who are frightened to post that we will protect them.
Allso, aliena has spent much of today deleting posts, reducing herself to 0 posts for some strange reason, perhaps another name change is on the way, however, can they be retained in some archive please in case I do decide to go the harrassment route ??

[LEFT]I've been bombarded by pm's by Sdoj generally complaining about how he is being victimised by George and Will. I tried to give hin the benefit of the doubt but am starting to ignore them and will block all incoming pm's from him. What have the other pm's been about? [/LEFT]

Much of the same really - complaining about every little thing (sdoj) and Aliena complaining about a thread that I admit to reading but not finding particularly offensive or antagonistic, maybe I am missing something.

Then there have been over the week a steady stream of comments about us Mods and lack of democratic process, etc etc...

Most have been deleted without replying. Some I have replied to. Will see what comes in over the weekend.

LOL, I've just gone "visible" and withine about a minute sdoj PM'd to say he likes to see me online.... Eurgh, off for a shower, feel errrm, unclean...

[LEFT]I think they are just playing games cos there's nothing better for them to do. I have given Sdoj or Stanley the benefit of the doubt and will see. Am busy with clients for the next few days and so will have to miss out on any heated debates.

Yup, same here - though I was away for the week and think I've made that clear in the forum - and by pm to sdoj. Also received one from Will on Friday. Can't we build a boxing ring & let them sort it between them???

Haven't had a chance to look at the forum threads as yet & will probably get around to checking them later today. However, I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of the more problematic threads, so I can check them out first.

I tried to placate sdoj last weekend but then he seemed to be digging his own grave by sending a pm to Will, part of which I find a bit insulting (Will forwarded it). Told sdoj I was upset, too, back in October about a few comments (about the stereotyping rather than historical facts) but that you've got to leave that kind of stuff behind you. Done & dusted. And yet he's still looking for a full-blown apology... argh!

Also, it would help to know if anyone's account is currently suspended, so we're prepared! :)

Wishful Thinker is claiming he's been banned, have asked Ronald, but no reply, but, the poor bloke is entitled to the occasional weekend off...
the normal sdoj conspiracy theories being started, see the threads "What's going on " "Banned?", aliena's deleted postings" ohh, and on that subject, the last page of "Triangle of death".. Aliena has been re writing, deleting and generally, errr.... again, early morning stuff too, quite unfortunate.

WT sent a PM, so I can't see how he's banned???? also, sdoj and WT disappeared from the members lists yesterday, but, both have showed up as "on line" today.

Its all getting a bit tiresome, these personal attacks on us, but I think that they'll burn out soon.

I got a conciliatory PM from Adriatica this afternoon. That just leaves Aliena!

In my defense :-) was away from Friday morning until now. A wonderful tour of Emilia-Romagna with friends so had no time to ban anyone (despite winhful thinking).

Will PM the person in question. Otherwise I am getting tired of this very small group but trying to be as patient as possible before doing something more drastic. They seem so attached to the forum that I am worried if I did anything drastic they would simply reappear in different guises. Better the devil you know, etc.

Yup, I agree with you, Ronald! Let's hope they'll find something else to moan about soon... :rolleyes:
