For our property in Le Marche we find we get the most response from advertising in ITALY Magazine and website. I think this is because the people who read the magazine are genuinely interested in Italy and notjust looking

Oops! I pressed post reply before I was finished. I meant to say that that readers of the magazine are more likely to want Italian holidays rather than the casual looker on a purely holiday website.

I wouldn't use ebay. People on there are often after a cheap deal rather than a quality break ...
What about exploring travel supplements in the weekend papers? Not sure how much it costs though.
Cheers!
You are on that site right now!

As it happens Italy Magazine is launching a new section of its website (a new and improved accommodation listings). This is a direct result of the many requests we have been having to offer a dedicated space on the website for advertising accommodations.
It only costs 63.75GBP to list an accommodation for a year (this is our introductory offer) and you can purchase the ad straight off our shop.

The website will be going live over the weekend but you can have a sneak preview now.

All the best,

Many thanks for all the advice. How long does the special offer with Italy Mag`s website last Ronald (I might be interested for our own flat later in the year as well, but it`s not ready yet)? Owners Direct looks good as well and not too expensive. I think I will avoid Ebay - too complicated and, I think you`re right, people will want a rock-bottom bargain. Thanks again everyone.

Hi,
try Owners Direct (www.ownersdirect.co.uk). Not terribly expensive and I've had great success advertising my parents' place with it. I've tried e-bay but didn't get anything from it.
