Forza Italia's campaigning for the forthcoming election has centred around the the words 'ITALIA, FORZA.' Dario Salvelli's Blog (part technical stuff, part humour) recently featured some witty grass-roots resistance to the Berlusconi governmnent on a poster which had been graffitti'd to read;

ITALIA, FORZA.
'nculo, va fan.

which translates (erring on the polite side) as

ITALY, GO!
off, sod.

Now his brother has trawled up a whole lot more, posted on this page;

Good for practicing translating vernacular Italian, a good laugh and a great expression of the Italians' irespressible spirit.

LOL nice!!

I noticed the big campaign placards in Rome the other week... my fiance was quite intrigued about their big smiling faces ...

Thank goodness the Brits aren't like the Italians in that respect... :D
