2849 Italian Language stuff!!

Hello UK residents,

Just to let you know that this weekend (4th & 5th March) The Independent will have some Italian language CDs (or CD + booklet, can't remember details) in both their Saturday and Sunday issues...

Hope I don't forget tomorrow... ;)

Cheers!

I can get it in Navan so you should be able to get it in Dublin.

This coming Monday night (Tuesday morning) on BBC2, Learning Zone, they're showing all 20 Italianissimo TV programmes (level 1 & 2). I'm using the books and CDs so I'll be taping them.

Hi Derek,

Thanks for that - will ask at the local Spar. If they get it they will keep it for me.

Is it snowing up by you as well?

Sano, snowing in Edinburgh for the first time this year... while the rest of the UK has been buried under a blanket of snow for a few days now!!!

Thanks for the links, Paula. Will check them out tonight...

Hello Iona,
thanks for the information, I shall make sure I am up out early tomorrow to get a copy. Don't know about Sunday, may send out hubby to get it! I know that I cannot have too many of these language courses. Am still trying to get hubby to start listening to CD'S, but says he falls asleep!
Ciao
Francesca

Hello Francesca,

Lucky me, I didn't have to get up early - my other half went out to get the paper yesterday ... and he's actually just on his way to get the Sunday paper so I hope they're not sold out yet!!

Hmmm how can your hubby fall asleep when listening to Italian?? We could sit & listen for hours. Perhaps he should try listening to CDs in the car? That way he can't just doze off... ;)

Have a nice day!
