Had to laugh about the News last night...
England fans travelling to Germany were told: 'don't mention the war' ... and to refrain from doing the 'walk'!!! :D
Given that that particular episode of Faulty Towers is the most popular of the series in Germany... I don't understand who gave the 'orders' for the England fans to shut up.
I guess nobody wants to watch scenes as in France some years back but what's wrong with a bit of banter?? I bet that no Germans were consulted in this pc stunt...
All in all, people should just behave themselves when they go abroad, wherever they go ... hmmm .... Germany's not Ibiza!! :D

we're keeping ourselves back for Euro 2008 qualification - piece of cake and at last a few challenging games!!!!!! The Italians are shaking in their boots and goodness knows what France will be thinking. As i've said in an earlier message, the Faroes will be thinking they've got a chance against us.
Alex + lynn - the WC final is Sunday 9 July I think - it clashes with the second day of T-in-the-Park

its bad news really for italy, i've tipped them to take the trophy, but at the
moment they are playing too well. it leaves them with very few surprises to
spring, come the world cup... also helps the competition, to see how they
might stop the azzurri......

its only important to play well when the world cup finals are on.
its always nice to win, but the others then learn from u,and u learn very
little from them!
remember just over 4 years ago, england beat germany 5-1 in germany,

I'm looking forward to being in Italy at the time of the World Cup; I had such great fun in 1990 when it was held there. It makes me twitchy as I used to play women's football and still can't keep my feet and head still when I watch. The Union flag is waiting to drape over my balcony (if we do well):-)

Nooooooooo I just realised I am flying back from Italy on the bleeding 20th June and will miss a game drat drat drat!
En-ger-land 15th June I shall be in Alex and Lynn villa shouting obsenities at the ref!!!! Bring it on!!!!!!! :D
Cor, bloomin' heck Lyn! How am I supposed to get footings dug, septic tanks installed ... a house built - with it being a World Cup year?
Much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Oh well. We can always come round to 'your's' for a bit of home comforts ;-)
