Finding a good one is probably a bit of a hit and miss affair. My wife and I are starting lessons with a tutor this weekend. Hope she's ok. €25 per hour for the two of us.

Thanks to the Italian Consulate in Bedford!
Phoned them up and in 2 hours a retired teacher responded!
He's in Bedford and charges £15 for a 2 hour one to one lesson!!!
How happy am I?

I believe my insegnante contacted you - but you did not know who I was - so - I guess it was an awkward conversation - I also understand that you have found your own tutor - good luck with that!!
I have found it very difficult to get a tuor and because of my job nightschool was hit and mis. I went on a 5 days intensive language course in Rome - they found me a rented room in a flat and it was great - just had to concentrate on the language for 5 days - I am now backing it up with a tutor but she is only ok.
