You are almost right.. the "rompe" is correct.. and I was wondering when you would show your face.. but I still reckon you are a double player and I wanna see the real face you are hiding behind!
All we need now is your friend "Shemo".. who cant spell!

Non rompere le scattole is an acceptable alternative...I think...at any rate my customers tell it to me all the time when I am chasing payments. :D

Lav,
With over 1800 members of this forum, I think you've probably gone a great job at advertising your "business". What I want to know is, will member of the Forum get a discount for their stay at the Bates Motel?
What if we bring assorted bits of plumbling equipment, or an assortment of screwdrivers...:)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Come on Tinks.. be serious.. think about it.. no heating.. dodgy water.. dangerous plumbing and electrics.. rotten beams.. a full scale row going on with the local agents and middlemen.. and an absolutely demented and stressed out hostess who is pulling her hair out by the handful!
Tell me.. would anyone seriously advertise their business in this way?
Who would want to stay at Lavs place.. even with a discount.. except Aliena? I'd love it.. all that gossip and fighting going on.. best entertainment in the world! :D
Book Aliena in for a week Lav!
:) :)
Let's all cash in..

Has somebody booked the TV crew yet? Aliena and I our going to have our honeymoon at Casavecchiastrega.... it will make the best reality TV yet :)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
well, it does have running water, or so I'm told ;)
A witch hunt ?
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 03/14/2006 - 05:33In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
..that'd be no fun at all...there's no element of hunting at all, they just pop up all over the place...it's more like that game at the fair where one has to bash the worms as they pop up... there are online forms at www.crazymonkeygames.com like Ogg the Squirrel Hunter :)
..but the space ship sounds a good idea, I'll call Nobby and tell him to get round honto pronto...suggest we fly off to Umbria and search for illegal building works, and unscrupulous types digging pools with other people's hard earned cash..
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Please wipe your feet before entering the space ship, thank you.
Now, how shall we spot the unscrupulous types ? We need an Englishman (or woman, of course,no bigotry here ;)) to act as bait. If we fly low, we can dangle him/her from a rope...that should flush the blighters out :)
Any volunteers?
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
You can do it Tinks, give you enough rope and .......;)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
No no, I must be on board...Nobby is a little erm...irratic, shall we say...unless we get Aliena to steer..but then its after 11am, so maybe she's not fit...:)
...but, you know, anything to help out ;)

In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Where's a mod when you need one? Howz about cutting and pasting last three pages into Circolo, like I suggested ages ago that all cr*p gets dumped in there.

Exactly so... this thread is cleary libelous, and should have been removed a long time ago.
We are merely treating it with the contempt that it deserves.
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
I thought maybe the little yellow triangle with the exclamation mark attached to this thread meant "abandon hope all thee...." or does it simply indicate wheelspin!
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Told ya..
Aliena gets the blame again! All I was doing was sitting on the fence and watching the world go by and now.. that thread is closed!
Is that what you wanted? ;)

Aliena -
Do you understand any more of the thread now since your deleted post?
Exactly so... this thread is cleary libelous, and should have been removed a long time ago.

do u have a vested interest in this company, or have u changed careers?
am only asking, because "clearly libelous" gives the impression that its an
open and shut case! which it is not.therefore it can only be proven libel by
a judge in a courthouse.
but bare with me, if someone makes a statement about their own experience,
and keep to the facts that they have experienced, then it becomes pretty
difficult, not to mention expensive to prove libel against them.
"contempt it deserves" that is your opinion, and only goes to show that
you, youself only deserve to be shown contempt.
alas the majority of people on here are good upstanding people, who actaully
have a little compassion and dignity, and therefore behave in a dignified
manor. this i admit is somthing i am not too strong on,therefore i feel ok,to
reply in this said manor.
i feel yet again a new member who rightly or wrongly chose to give an
account of their "italian experience" is attacked and belittled, and may or
may not post again, and in the same vein with over 1800 members it seems
strange that we do not have hundreds of threads, running on regions, and
experiences of these members. who unless they are thicked skin dare not
start threads incase of redicle.
i am all for fun or banter, and yes i know this is in that section, but it didn't
start here, it was dragged here so some could poke fun at other peoples
expense!...and yes i know i'm no angel...but atleast i am trying to improve,
i thing some others should give it a go,otherwise the forum will become a
place that people visit once or twice, and then move on never to return.
this would leave us all none the wiser, and that would be such a shame as
we all claim to have an infinitive with all things italian.....

Giovanni,
I think WT referred to a post by Lavender where she noted how to find that agent on the Italy Mag website... which is libellous in that everyone could check them out and maybe contact them without having the full facts from her. It's a different thing if people pm or email Lavender direct and ask for the full story and names.
I hope she'll keep us posted and is successful in getting some of her money back, but still there shouldn't have been any chance of forum viewers to follow a link to that agent.
I'm usually all for naming & shaming (especially of those young yobs roaming the country here!!), but I'm aware of the legal intricacies involved in posting or even hinting at names on an open forum like this, which in this day & age can quickly lead to the courtroom!
Please, guys, let that be the end of it! :)
Cheers...

Agree... would be very happy to hear from more people about their experiences - but again, without mentioning the potential culprits direct. :)
