2945 sustainable energy in puglia

Hi all, I am new to this forum and am presently planning to move to a trullo in San Vito,near Ostuni.I have visited the area recently and found it to be quite enchanting but as yet have found no evidence of anyone using 'green' energy techniques.I find this strange in an area that is blessed with so much sunshine and also considering the fact that Italian electricity is quite expensive as it comes from France.I would love to hear from anybody who has adopted solar or wind power and am eager to get addresses of any reputable companies who deal with this. thanks Gerard.

Thanks for the e ply.Consequently after reading the letters I have still found no mention of anyone actually using solar power or addresses of firms that deal with this.Do they exist ?
