My children looked at it but weren't too interested TBH. They watched Italian cartoons/films instead.

In my experience of using Muzzy to teach English to Spaniards and French to English kids(before the Italian version came out) it is ideally suited to the 8-12 year olds. The development of language moves quite quickly and needs backing up with lessons in the language if it's going to be at its most effective. If it is just exposure/immersion to the language which you're after, cartoons are just as good- my son used to be transfixed to the AURONES in Spain - not sure how much Spanish he actually learnt but he's now got an ear generally for other languages.

if you do your homework like a good girl and learn your vocabulary as you should, should be a doddle and at the end of the day Muzzy is just a cartoon- I've seen it so many times now and it is dreadfully contrived but teaches you something new at every turn- as long as you can keep up
My grandchildren 6 and 3 use the Italian muzzy and love it, not just the dvd's but also the computer games that come with it. Excellent, could recomend it.
