2967 Limano

HI, I live in Florida, USA but my mother is from Limano, near Bagni di Lucca. I saw a post from Susi that she is married to a man from Limano. Is there anyone else out there with Limano ties? My family names are Domenici and
Bernardi. I have been to Limano three times. I took my husband and 2 girls there 3 years ago and we hope to return next summer when my toddler can (hopefully) make the transatlantic flight. Lucca is def. my favorite city in the world! My cousin lives right on the ampeteatro. My Itlaian is not so good, but has gotten us out of some tight situations with police in Fierenze. Also, if anyone knows of any homes for sale in Limano, could you let me know! Happy to see the site! It seems that there are a lot of Brits out there moving to Toscana so you all seem to know a lot about the area-it's great to find you.

Not all moving to Tuscany limanogirl! We have settled in Lazio and you will find lots of forum members from other regions, especially Puglia.

Hi Lisa

Most of our family now live in Viareggio but we still have some relatives in Limano who we see regularly. We spend about 3 months of the year in Bagni so we may bump into to you there.
Are you related to Leda Domenici? It's possible because nearly every one is related in some fashion.
There are usually houses for sale in Limano. I know a lot of English people have bought there.

I have not been on the site in a while and was just sitting here with my zia leda and she mentioned that your husband is her 1st cousin and Gabriella mentioned that a lisa from Florida was posting here! leda's husband, Fulvio, was my grandfather's brother! What a small world! Hopefully we will be in Limano next summer and we will definately look for you!
