2904 Roma tickets

I'm heading out to Rome next week - primarily to see Scotland tie up the 6 Nations - but very likely going to the Roma-Messina match on the Sunday. Previous messages in other threads have mentioned Listicket as a source for tickets. However, they're still not available on that site, and due to the conflict between shopping and watching football, numbers may not be decided until the last minute! Is it easy enough to get tickets from the club shop or other outlets?

There must be a club shop somewhere.....is it on their site?

I've also used www.TicketOne.it & found a UK company that can buy them for you, but this make me nervous & I resent paying the mark up ;)

Club shop in Piazza Colonna, at the side of Via del Corso. Ticket booth upstairs. Ticket booth didn't used to take any cards but have heard a rumour that they now accept american Express but nothing else. You will need passports, or at least a photocopy, for each person you are buying tickets for. The online ticket agencies, in my experience, only sell the premium tickets costing well over 50 euros and obviously do charge a mark-up price or booking fee. If it's a 3pm kick-off tickets will stay on sale until about 1.30pm possibly a little earlier. Curva Sud and distinti sud will be almost certainly sold out. Curva Nord will be the cheapest but is only for the brave and/or foolhardy. Distinti Nord is quite cheap in comparison to Premier League and the view isn't too bad considering you are in the corner beyond the athletics track. Tickets for the sides range from quite pricey to 'no I want tickets for the football not the opera'.

thanks for the advice. Although I had no intention of using some of the British agencies I looked at some on the net - their prices were beyond belief. Listicket had tickets for Juve's Champions League match starting at approx 40euros while one online agency was charging £200+ for the Roma - Messina match??????
Tom - I promise I won't shout any Dundee United comments!!!

Thanks again

Whilst I normally wouldn't condone buying tickets from a tout, last February I went to watch Milan - Lazio at the San Siro. I had brought my ticket online for a cost of around £80 from an English based agency. The seating was in the third ring which is the highest position, and being a February night it was freezing! Talking to a tout outside the stadium the day before the match, (I was there the day before for the stadium tour) I could have got a ticket from him for the second ring, so not so far up for just €15. I couldn't believe the price, for such a high level game.

aye - wait until ye get there. club shop. you'll be wanting tickets in the Curva Sud - take i.d. (passport) - takes about 20-40 minutes from order to collection. That is if it works the same in the 'sud' as the 'Nord' for L A Z I O !!!! (prob. about 15 euros)
