Hi Gio, sorry I did not make it clear as to where we will be coming from, we are actually coming from stelvio pass,paul been wanting to drive this pass for ages, so perfect opportunity then as we will be on route to Le Marche, hoping to stay one or two nights in a B&B or hotel, looking forward to seeing Lake Como as we have not been before, not end of the world if we have no recommendations because sometimes its more fun to wait till you get there and look yourselves, thats what we normally do and we have found some really great places that way, we did that in Naples, wow that was a great place, but thats another story, any way thanks for that website.:) Francesca

DAM, beaten to the stelvio pass, again!
i'm sure u have your routes sorted, but if u are returning early june,even
late june may do, consider going over the gran san bernards, fantastic views
and at that time of year, u have the ice sheets draining down the hillsides,
have even seen people skiing, and it was 28 degrees!

i am hoping that if anyone pms u on the subject, that u will share it with
us..... ok me....only know a few campiing sites{did i say know?} i looked
into staying near colico? {on the north of the lake }a few years back, so i
could try a few alpine passes,including the famous stelvio pass.
u say u are coming from the east? east of where?
