3125 What turns us on......

I've had a bit of a look at what really gets 'us' (Forum members) going, what gets our goat & what motivates folk to post on the forum. Well apart from a quiet Monday at work, I started thinking what other conversations needed to be turned into [i]sticky[/i] messages thinking that if threads get looked at regularly, then maybe it'd be worth posting them clearly (or turning them into an advice sheet ;)) I then pondered what we all really want out of the forum & with one or two exceptions, it seems like we like to take a pop at estate agents & lawyers.....is this really representative of our views!?! I also took a look at the latest Italy Mag & wondered if the contents represented these views, or took another angle.........dunno, what's everyone else's opinion?

You haven't mentioned the popularity of the Ryan air threads - baggage or destinations!!
Probably not a suitable subject for a Sticky though - these rules change every five minutes :) :)

I was just looking at discrete threads, rather than topics, but you're right, it's always ripe for discussion!

Will have to think a bit more about what the forum can do although the Grand Tour will hopefully get to those numbers:

As for contents of the magazine I really like the fact that the magazine does not go on and on about lawyers and property. We have other places to discuss these issues and with the magazine we can simply enjoy the stories about Italy itself and all the great photo spreads.
