3126 Pescara airport car rentals at weekends?

Does anyone know if any of the car rental cos apart from hertz open sat afternoons and sundays at Pescara airport? Online I'm finding they all close at 1230 which is great when the flight gets in at 1600. I try to avoid using hertz because most ryanair passengers do and the queues can be silly..
thanks

Marinaw Salve,
I've always found that if i book by internet, they are always there, sat or sun, 'spose they know you're coming.
Ciao

Hi Rob
unfortunately its not allowing me to make bookings online because the offices are closed - don't want to put the wrong times in..Who do you usually use?
Thanks

try booking through www.budget-italy.com, see what they say, again, my visitors have never had any problems, (budget use avis generally and the insurance costs include all waivers too.)

M,
....the one advertised on the right, auto europe, first kiosk, far end. Don't forget, as George so rightly reminds us, (good ole georgy), of the waivers particularly DLW & CLW. Collision & Damage limitation. They advertise cheap car rental, but the CLW is YOU pay the first 1000euro. For, i think 12euro a day extra, you are fully covered. Take that into cosideration when comparing prices.

Thanks George, thanks Rob.
I have the cdw insurance - the £50 annual one so brilliantly recommended here - so I'm covered on excess anyway. Will give them a go.

If you have to use Hertz [and I try kelkoo these days to get the best options] - if booking online quote the CDP number 504335 to get the AA discount [never checked] - If by phone - just say you're in the AA. Gets you 10% off.

To beat the worst of the queue when getting to your destination - leave your partner to pick up the bags and go straight through to the Hertz office yourself. Similarly - always check in for your return flight before dropping the keys off.

Hmm didn't like that CDP no - got this message - CDP entered is incorrect or not valid with this promotion.

Budget will do it - thanks George - but are £5 more. Yes I always send my husband through early while I struggle with the bags to try to get in the queue before its hours long, might go the extra £5 to avoid hertz though..

If anyone else has any discount codes do let me know!

Cheers

M

And there cheap too what's the catch?

I don't know of any catches, maybe they're just a small part of a bigger organisation, who knows, a friend found them through a friend of his, they also seem to have an automatic upgrade policy too, my son always books a basic car, he's 6'7" though, automatically upgraded to a medium for basic price, with my mate, it's a girth problem, again upgrade, There may well be a catch somewhere though...

Try http://www.carhire.co.uk/.

They are either free or cheap for extra drivers and I have found them open at unusual hours.
