3164 Election Time

I can't believe we are finally close the elections. I've really had enough of all these politicians selling their wares on TV. But Berlusconi's statement yesterday is beyond any limit: http://www.italymagazine.com/2006/news-from-italy/current-affairs/berlusconi-insults-italians/ This is not an attack to other politicians but to Italians! From the Prime Minister! What do you think would happen to Tony Blair if he called everyone who did not vote Labour what Berlusconi called everyone who does not vote for him?

Even if I wanted to vote, in all honesty I do not think I could do it right. The mess of paperwork that I was sent just defies logic!

Still, might be nice to see Berlusconi brought down a peg or two...

Ronald, do you think Berlusconi and Ken livingstone are related !!!!!!!!!!!

ahh... ken :)

It's impressive how politicians - that really should be these cold rational figure of authority - often just trip up because they can't shut their mouth

By the you gte the "quiet man" a.k.a. Ian Duncan Smith - oh well - I guess we can't live with them - we can't live with them!

Oops he did it again....

I'm quite amused by what I've been reading and hearing about B's antics... but then I don't live in Italy! Sorry, folks....

Agree that it's time someone put him in his place.

Thought he was related to our cherished deputy PM... the same air of superiority surrounds them!

Now, Ronald, The Vicar aka Tony, would never use such words to describe any one, ever, and the beloved deputy PM wouldn't bother to verbalise his feelings, he'd just thump 'em, It has been alleged that Ken Livingstone would preface any statement with a reference to Prison camps, and IDS has disappeared, to be replaced by a Tony clone called Campbell or something, Dear Margaret did a wonderful job for Labour by deleting any one in the tory party with any sense...
So, anyway, the REAL election, have been looking at the "wall of candidates" in town today, roaring with laughter at some of the titles of the parties, I was particularly tickled by the "Radical socialist liberals" it really is difficult making up ones minds, but, as there seems to be one candidate for each member of the population of Francavilla, I guess we just each vote for one of 'em ??? :D

George, you are out of touch with UK politicos!
The new leader of the Conservative Party is a Mandelson clone called Dave, a.k.a the Eton chav!! :)

Ohhh, Campbell's the other one then, the "New, dynamic" leader of the Liberals, forgot what with all the excitement over there...:D It's difficult when you're old you know, Cameron, Cambell, Brown....;)
