I heard on the news this afternoon about the new route's, although it didn't say which part of Italy and I'm fed up now because its not as far down as Puglia. Well done Marina though, life should be a hell of lot easier for you and I'm jealous as hell...;)

I'm doing a little dance here! Real shame no Fri or Sunday flights but I'm not quibbling. That drive home from Stansted was a killer. Now we can come out even for just 2 nights whenever we fancy it.
I just hope it doesn't go the way of Jet2 flights Manc to Venice - not enough Italy lovers up north it seems. Am amused at the idea of plane loads of scallies arriving in Le Marche (no offence to anyone from Liverpool ;-))

Excellent news! Maybe this will start other airports and airlines to consider more fights to Italy :) Congratulations Marina!

Sadly since British Airways withdrew most of its regional flights we have become reliant on Jet2 from Manchester or Leeds or Easyjet from Liverpool. Gosh how the prices have risen - very hard to get a reasonable flight to Nice unless booked a fair time in advance.

Very glad to hear about the increase in departures from Liverpool.

You could always pick up the train from Ancona ???

We had a look at the flight times last night, with the thought of picking up the hire car at Ancona and driving the rest of the way down, but its 6 hours drive, flight gets in at 9pm. Flight back at 5.30pm (which wouldn't be so bad). Can't imagine going by train with 4 kids and 6 suitcases (don't forget Ryanair's bagage allowance). Wont be so bad once the house is finished and we can leave our clothes etc there but that may be a while yet...........We'll just have to wait and hope

Hope they get round to doing a Glasgow run soon too.
