Hiya,

Either I was asleep or drunk... I can't remember things clearly...

It seems that Adriatica has left the forum? Is that correct? Haven't heard from him in ages but thought something was missing...

I have pm'd him some days ago and heard nothing back, have also misplaced his email addy so can't contact him that way.

It would be a pity if he has left - he is one of the good contributors here in my estimation, but he does come in for a lot of flack from some quarters.

I've just noticed, he doesn't appear on the members list anymore, I will really miss him, he was so helpful to so many people before he started knocking Puglia...

Yes I noticed that too, George! I went looking for older posts & he comes up as 'guest' !!

When checking for his email, it came up with this:

[COLOR="Red"]Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.[/COLOR]

And as I haven't seen him logged in for a while, I guess he doesn't read PMs... Hmmm shame really!!

PS - just checked the User Log... contact details are deleted but he seemed to have logged in yesterday!! Perhaps he's still reading PMs after all ...

When you go to a person's profile... eg

Directly under the photo you'll find the link to 'user options'... it asks for your password and then you can view people's profiles & details. I think it's being used if someone's being banned, can't access, etc.

I've checked them out first when WT couldn't get into the forum a couple of weeks ago - it shows you log-in times, etc. ... I asked his permission to go in, though, and usually wouldn't go near it unless necessary and agreed.

Oh yes - Adriatica. He has decided to leave the forums becuase he has had enough of the fighiting. I told him we would be very sorry to see him go but he really had enough.
