Perhaps you will have better luck if you ask in the Sports section - there seem to be tifosi of every major team there!! Someone will almost certainly be able to quote the Inter song in full!
My first thought is that this "word" is actually an amalgam of words - could be "ama la" you/she/he loves it (feminine). The team is la squadra (I think this is true for calcio), so would be feminine. Could also be a bit of local Milano dialect.
Just a thought - see what develops with other peoples' opinions!!

I agree that squadra is the Italian for team, but it is still true that each club is known as either masculine, like Inter, Milan, Lazio or Fiorentina (Il Viola) for example, or feminine, as per la Juve (fittingly for La Vecchia Signora), la Parma, la Roma.
I wonder if amala is the imperative form: amala = love her (or it). Just a thought, as Eccles would say.

Being una tifosa del Parma ----we say Il Parma.
And yeeeeeees we now have 41 points.

Pazza Inter Amala
> Crazy Inter 'love her'
Crazy ? Yes they are crazy...since over 20 years they invest money in the team and are still loosers. ;-))
amala?

I think it means - love it! love football - love milan. I don't think it should be taken literally as Love her - e.g amala per sempre - love her for ever! :)
Can anyone please tell me what this word is in English . The word comes up in the inter milan theme song , and i thoght i'd try and find out what it actually means .
Thanks , Marco .
Can you expand on the lyrics at all? It looks like it may be the imperative of amare with a feminine object pronoun. But I don't really think that's right. Inter is referred to as masculine, ie l'Inter, as opposed to la Juve, la Parma, la Roma. So some context would be good.
