Thank you, I'm going to check them out. Hopefully they will ship to Tennessee - There are new laws with less restrictions on wine shipping to certain states, I'm hoping Tennessee was included in this law. I can't wait good vino!!!!!!:p

Ciao,
I guess that the 'Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona' does not deliver to the USA.
But it's more exciting to come and buy it here, directly in the vineyard.
I see that you would love to live in Siena ? So get here and get this great vine from Ciacci.:D
Ciao Peggy

Elefante's right, best way of buying Chianti is to sample at the vineyard. What better excuse (as if you need one) could you have for coming to Siena! We have friends who visit annually from southern California and they've shipped successfully from vineyards in both the Chianti and Montalcino. Am I alone in feeling that choice of Chianti, as with so many good reds, is a very personal thing? It never fails to amaze me how bottles vary so much in style and flavour even if grown on adjacent estates. V

Our plans are to be out there next year, until then, I'm parched:p I have not had a chance to look up the websites recommended to me, but plan to soon. I live in Tennessee and the county I live in is a dry county, which coming from San Diego area in California is so bizarre to me, I just want to buy wine, when and where and have it shipped to me if that is what I want. Oh well, the positive of me living is TN is that I'm closer to Italy than I was in California:o You have to think of all the positives are else you can go nuts!
Yahoo for Italy in 2007!!! Sooner if I win some sort of Lotto or something.
Thank you again for your suggestions/recommendations
Hugs, Peggy
We went to a winery last year who said they shipped. We're UK so not sure if they just ship in Europe. The name was Casa Emma - lovely smooth Chianti. The website address is: www.casaemma.com/
The winery is in the San Donato area. 9 euros a bottle according to the website.
Hope this helps.
