Usual sort of Place in the Sun programme.
1. Couple want to buy a place in an area they have never been to
2. They don't know what they want
3. Every property within their budget is 'wrong'
4. They make offer on property that costs more than they budgeted for.
5. They don't complete
Nice scenery though - that's why I watch it

OR, to put it another way, a mate of the producer fancies a cheap holiday, spends a day being filmed in various locations, spends a fortnight in a lovely place, now, how many TV producers do I know....:D

Yup agree! Am always in fits in those programmes and they go to places I know the language of hehe...
As Alan said... they offered & then 'didn't follow up'... meaning they couldn't be bothered.
Mind you, couldn't see them doing interior restoration or even running a hotel ... :D

My husband is so transfixed by her chest that he hardly notices the houses...
Thought last night was pretty poor - the 'castle' at the end was fantastic but generally it seemed badly researched in terms of showing them (or even finding out) what they really wanted. They used to show a selection of other types of houses available at other budgets too which was much more interesting.
Where abouts is it next week?

I’m always amazed how TV producers find these people.
But I still watch them, it’s a bit like rubbernecking at a scene of an accident you know you shouldn’t but you just can’t help yourself.
