2915 Accommodation in Abruzzo

Hi
can anyone recommend B & B, agriturismo or a small friendly hotel in either L'Aquila or Sulmona as we are going over to Abruzzo at Easter and would like to spend a couple of days in either or both of those towns. Also if anyone knows of something similar in the hills near to Nocciano or that area preferably north of the Rome/ Pescara motorway. We are looking for accommodation that is child or should I say young teenager friendly.

I hope someone can help

I am not exactly sure where Nocciano is in relation to where I stay when in Abruzzo, but here goes.

If you look at their website http://www.ripalta.it.

It is a small farmhouse B&B with very friendly owners. they have a double B&B room, or two apartments within their house. The location is beautiful, in the middle of the mountains at Pietranico. Price are very reasonable and access is only 25 minutes from Peacara airport.

Hope this helps.

Hi Janet

I hope you are Janet. It's sometimes difficult to know from your Forum Name. Thanks for the suggestion of Ripalta. I have seen this on the web and thought this might be a good one to go for. We did go over at Easter and stayed at Terre D'Olivio which was great. We are going to be going again in the summer but would then really like something that had a pool. Maybe that is wishful thinking. We did stay somewhere last summer near Citta St Angelo which had a pool, but we have lost the name and can't find it on the web anymore. If anyone knows what it is that would be great.
