3276 we need advice on a geometra/solicitor

we are in the process of buying a new build apartment in reggio calabria in calabria and urgently need to find an english speaking geometra in calabria as we dont want to use the solicitor reccommended by the selling agents. please has any one got any contacts or ideas? thanks janet

I hope you get a reply - but I don't think there are many (if any) forum members in Calabria.
Is your Italian up to enquiring at the local Commune offices for a recommendation for a local geometra? I suspect you will find it difficult to find an English speaking geometra though.

It is right, it will be difficult to find an English speaking geometra in Calabria.
I am a Trainee Solicitor specialised in Tax Law, I have studied in Uk for six month and I live and work near Venice.
