Now on the other hand...if you had three cars:
one registered in Bologna, one in Livorno and the other in Catanzaro:) :D
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
Now lets see, some may say its all a load of Cremona and Ascoli Piceno, but I believe there really are space rockets in Napoli and Salerno! :D
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
How about a car in Cuneo and one in Lodi ????
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
How daft would you be to have one car in Lodi and another in Como? :D
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
As daft as someone with one in Foligno and one in Olbia.

...and there used to be a funny woman with one in Alghero, one in Jesi (so I hear) and one in her home town of Napoli.

You, too have fallen into this foolish Terni AscoliPiceno........ :)
But - this is all a bit historic - and on the "new" plates I'm always amused that the Italian "mint" which issues number plates gave Perugia a whole raft of numbers beginning BR and ending KE - and inevitably there was a zero somewhere in between...........wonder if these cars have the same resale value as something which ain't "broke"!!

I know of one of the new number plates that's kinda rude.. it belongs to a friend of mine, who hadn't realised it had any significance in English, until I explained while crying with laughter. I think he was quite proud of it after that.
I would show a photo of it, but I would definitely get deleted, or worse! :D

Well, if we are talking attachments, this is the very best UK plate I have snapped (belonged to a lovely east ender who might once have been called Kray).............

Dreamy.
I only have so many lives! :D :D
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
How many have you used so far???:)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
I'm trying very hard to preserve this one. :)
In reply to A newbie all over again! by Annec
I bet some registration authorities got issued with CU as the first two letters, FU (for sure) hasn't been started, so if Anastasia is being a bit coy about her friend's modern number plate I think we should start surmising :) :) Now maybe it is sufficiently historic to have started with AR....or AN.....I'm just speculating here :)
Thanks for sharing this, it really made me laugh, especially the "PS" number plate definitions and it shows how much "rivalry" there is between all the different areas.
I've know this type of rivalry to exist even between the residents of two buildings next door to each other! Each one trying to "out do" the other on which one has the best flower displays on the balconies or the nicest inner courtyard! I love it! :D
