3712 Hello All

Hello all.

I so pleased to have found this forum! My partner and I are looking for property in Italy at the moment. We started in Umbria, as I lived there quite a few years ago. We just can't find the right property at a price we can afford though so we are off to check out the delights of Marche instead.

I look forward to tapping into the "wealth of knowledge" from you all and hope at some point I too may be able to share some gems of experience!!

Have a look at the Marche section in the Italy Grand Tour - you can't resist once you've seen those photos!

Although we are buying in Abruzzo I really loved Le Marche and I consider it to be one of the most beautiful places in Italy - I know it is all beautiful, but Le Marche has something special. Good luck with the house hunting.

Hello Sarah,
Welcome to the forum. My sister in law has bought in le marche. So far she is very pleased. They bought an old farm house and is in the process of renovating it. We have bought in Lunigiana so if you ever wanted to have a look at that area we could recommend a very good estate agent.
