3742 What to do???

We're over the last two weeks of June and staying near Cingoli. Does anyone know of local events or concerts in the area. :( We know that we're missing the best in Macerata during July/August.

Also the kids (well maybe not kids - early 20's) will be with us and will want to go "clubbing" in the evening when NOT watching the football.:confused: Any suggestions!

I think you will be in time for the Mogliano 1744 celebrations. Usually the last week in June and first week in July. Wonderful experience! Mogliano is about 45 mins from Cingoli.
In nearby Treia ( where we live) they often have concerts(bands) in the town at weekends .

But we look at all the posters everywhere as events are often very localised!

I'd also suggest Googling the local commune website; those tend to have a list of events on them; as for clubs, if your ragazzi have enought bottle, they should ask the locals ragazzi about clubs...........they'll know ;)

Any one that is around San Ginesio on either 31st July or 14/15 August can enjoy the re-enactment of the Battle of Fornarina - when the baker's girl sounded the alert for the marauding soldiers of Fermo, and saved San Ginesio - or the fabulous Pallio with jousting, medieval parades, the drummer boys and of course, feasting.

Would thoroughly recommend both occasions, the costumes are spectacular and jousting a great afternoon out.
