Hi Vitus,

Not sure if this might help or what their prices are like in July ... we stayed in their hotel which was excellent value for money (in February!). They're a family run business of a couple of hotels and a hostel. Scroll down on the menu on the left and click on Hostel for details...

They're less than 10 mins walk from the train station & fairly good for walking to all attractions in the city centre.

You can also do a search for hostels or student digs in Rome on www.virtualtourist.com - great place to find any information!

Wherever you're going to stay, you'll enjoy Rome! :)

on a metro line - only 2 in Rome

and on a bus route

if there are 4 you get the apartment to yourselves - with balcony overlooking piazza -

we stayed there for £19 pp pn - prices might have gone up a bit - but a very GOOD location

dare I say it - Ryanair - now do hostels!

Ryanair may do hostels, but EasyJet do proper HOTELS. Very tasteful they are too. See the pics on http://info.easyhotel.com/about/indexgb.html Coming to Italy soon, with any luck.
