The world’s most popular tenor, Andrea Bocelli, is out with a new CD (just in time to make for a wonderful Christmas present), “Opera - The Ultimate Collection”.
The collection features Andrea’s beloved and favorite operatic selections that have inspired his career over the years. It includes arias from La Boheme, Tosca, La Traviata, Madame Butterfly and Romeo & Juliet, as well as a brand new recording of the much celebrated Nessun Dorma! from Puccini’s Turandot.
“The main objective of this album is to draw people closer to the opera, in particular to the whole opera,” Andrea explained. “So I chose the tracks that are the most engaging the first time you hear them. I hope I have made the right choice and it encourages people to discover more.”
“Opera – The Ultimate Collection” features important personalities of the classical music world, including bass-baritone Bryn Terfel and soprano Barbara Frittoli, conductors as Zubin Mehta, Myung-Whun Chung, and Plácido Domingo. The album also features orchestras from all over the world.
