Former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini came seventh in the annual rankings of the world's best club coaches compiled by the International Federation of Football Historians and Statistics (IFFHS).

Mancini, who led Inter to its third straight Serie A title last year, was eight spots above ex-Chelsea boss Jose' Mourinho, who replaced him at Inter last summer.

Three other Italian coaches made the Top 25.

Luciano Spalletti of AS Roma, which ran Inter close last year, was 16th.

Claudio Ranieri of Juventus, third in Serie A last year, was 19th while Cesare Prandelli of Fiorentina, which came fourth, was 22nd.

Manchester United's Alex Ferguson topped the rankings after Utd's Premier League, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup wins.

Dirk Advocaat of UEFA Cup winner Zenit St Petersburg was second and Coppa Libertadores winner Edgardo Bauza of LDU de Quito was third.

Arsene Wenger of Arsenal, third in the Premier League behind Man U and Chelsea, came fourth.

The IFFHS makes the rankings after polling 85 experts around the world.
