yeah the meter is a white digital one. I tried going through the screens but couldn't see anything that looked like a reading. Did you have to speak to them re the error or did it just rectify itself magically!

My first bill was I guess an estimate. The second they deducted the difference. This bill was so low they said to ignore it and they'd carry it to next bill. Which kind of worries me :eeeek:
But they could have done the opposite with you. If the first estimated bill was too low they would tacked it on now.

One screen will tell you the current reading, and further through you will see the reading that they should have taken for the last bill you received. The 2 should tally, if not then it should in theory be corrected the next time. We were charged 76 Euros for 2 months use in the winter months when I knew it should have been about 450, so got the corrected larger bill the next time!! They also credited us when they overcharged a few years ago.
Are you on one of the white digital meters, as they are remotely read. Enel did make a mistake with ours though, which was corrected on the next bill.
