My Italian uncle has left me a property

My Italian uncle has left me a property in Italy in the Ligurian region, close to Ventimiglia/San Remo. My uncle's guardianship lawyer has dealt with the will and has started the process by sending details of the italian property to the Agenzia D'entrate. I understand there is a bill to pay. I live in the UK, and I don't know what I need to do next. I am planning on keeping the property for our family and I need to start the land registry, but don't know where to start. Can anyone help in directing me to where I can find how to register the property,who I need to speak or ask to progress this. Somebody has mentioned a geometra. Thanks
