I wish this could be clarified for me, I would love to mention our apartment but that seems a no no, perhaps Valentina could explain what is acceptable?. I have read the notes re what is suitable, and am none the wiser.
We have a house and apartment in rural Marche, and would love the opportunity to see more of Italy, but we have 3 cats who are much loved and need looking after whilst we are away. Any members with property in Italy care to do a house swap?

Euronics by Oasis have loads under 100e and some on special offer, deals changing all the time and worth asking for a discount as well!. We like our little Gaggia, but they stock most brands. Or else Amazon seem to have a good range last time I looked.
Thanks for the summary Moruzzo, it makes for bleak reading, I am thankful I just fall within the old rules, seems like one is required to work until you drop and then try to survive on a meagre pension.
Thanks for the update hazy, I know that the quality of health care here in Italy can vary from region to region, which may inform some when a decision is made on where to live. In Marche I find it excellent, and the small fee involved in seeing a specialist is balanced out by the very short waiting period, in my case 24hrs. I am so out of touch with the Btitish NHS that I dont know how this compares, but doubt that I would have had the same level of service, plus here (at Fermo hospital) the ratio of staff to patients is much higher and the wards immaculately clean. Not our experience in the UK when mother in law was in hospital.
Our comune has a tip for electrical goods, and larger items, go ask at your comune M.
coseperlacasa.....funniest post I have probably ever read on this forum!, now off to hunt for my Sainsburys boxes.
But much of the point here is that we are not living in the UK, if we had liked it so much we would not have moved to Italy to live. Agree that it would be helpful to have a unified system across the EU, but we (in our position) are entitled to what our fellow Italians receive, and I am still trying to work that out as there are inconsistancies, still a learning process after nearly 5 years!
Search the site hazy, much has been written about charges, generally drugs for chronic conditions are free, eg diabetes, thyroid conditions, but I think and will stand corrected 65yrs old is when another set of rules kicks in. usually charges are minimal, and this covers the whole spectrum of health care (if you are eligable for it) and this is especially good in Marche.
EEK for those searching for a Conad in PDF it has been kindly pointed out to me that it is a Coal/Dum.
And to you Flip and all other members of our community. Celebrating at home in Italy and amazingly for those tradionalists amongst us, ordered sprouts for the local supermarket yesterday and picked them up this morning. So a Merry Christmas to the Happy Supermarket, Conad in Piano di Falerone, where nothing is too much trouble!
Many thanks to Penny as ever, with my new post codes displayed have now safely received all my Christmas parcels.
