Free prescriptions for some chronic complaints, which include thyroid and diabetic drugs, perhaps your farmacia could supply the approved list for you.

Anne is right, loads of bars, beach cafes and discos on the beach at PSG, but think the discos start up very late (so I hear from much younger Italian friends) and go on until 4ish in the morning so probably not for 14yr olds even though they would love it!.

After 4 years of living with the wildlife in rural Italy nothing bothers me now......except for the Calabroni, the large hornets, cannot get used to them, whilst they seem slow moving and docile they have a hefty sting and a hospital visit is usually required, for people with an allergy they can be deadly so best avoided and not antagonised. There is one that seems to visit our balcony early every morning, and tries to get through the open cat flap....so beware!.

Umm interesting, when I told my bank (Barclays) that I was moving to Italy to live and no longer had a UK address there was no problem with my account, all statements sent to me in Italy, and the account runs as normal.

Many of us would not have had homes in Italy if we hadnt been able to access them cheaply and easily via Ryanair. I have no complaints with their service or staff, last time I flew with them the steward went out of his way to be helpful and the service equalled the more expensive carriers.

What an amazing Dad you have!, dinner time must be a whole new experience when he is cooking. I offered my neighbour here chutney (made from the pears he had given me), acted as if I was offering him a poisoned chalice, have also given it to italian friends, but am not convinced they ever ate it. A brave younger italian friend came for dinner, her mother told me later that she had worried about what she might be offered and was relieved that she enjoyed it!, I should have given her your dads Agnello/Pork dish , that would have been confusing.
