Located less than a 100 m away from the Ponte Vecchio this centralli located trattoria is excellent value for money. You will find it on a narrow street called Via Stracciatella, to the left of Piazza di S.

I did not want to hijack Ronald's thread on Sardinia and the G8, but following a post on the same topic by Adriatica and my own commennt, I thought that it may be interesting for many to see what we are talking about.

It sounds as if it could be the South African copper butterly which attacks both geraniums and pelargoniums by laying eggs and the larvae destroy the flowers. It has invaded many Mediterranean areas, particularly the Balearic Islands, but you know how these pests tend to spread.

I had a look at some Spanish sites which had interesting information on olive pruning; however, no English translation was available. Nevertheless, I found this site in English which practically gives the same advice that I read on the Spanish sites. I hope it may help: www.olivebusiness.com/olivehandbook/GrowingOlives/pruning.htmIt looks as if you have an excellent crop one year, the next one is not up to the same standards.

Hello Tammy and welcome to the Community. Why have you chosen Italy? Do you know the country and its different regions? Do you speak Italian?Teaching is not very well paid in Italy and jobs are generally scarce.Perhaps other members may be more helpful, but they will need more information in order to give you accurate answers. In any case, best wishes regarding your future plans.

We buy Italian films in DVD and we listen to the original version. The ones that are great are those which have Italian subtitles for deaf people as you listen to the dialogues but you also have a written version. It is great to practice.

I also receive the message, John. I do hope that you will reconsider as you do a great job. Perhaps getting a helper may be an idea.  As Grommit says, many of us have too much on our plates already. Best wishes.

Don´t worry, the bats will come back. I may also be a bit crazy but I love all this wildlife around me.... with the exception of scorpions. I think that we can all live happily together

Hello Jo and welcome. It is good to see that you were able to reorganise your life after your sad loss and that you have now a good husband who shares your interests. As your pen name indicates, perhaps it was your karma to go through all these experiences, good and bad.Australia is a beautiful and very interesting country. We lived there for many years and we enjoyed it very much.Best wishes regarding your future plans.

Great information. It is good to have this kind of news from members as many times we all miss on events.

Answer to: building terms

Perhaps it may be an idea to do a wiki with all the terminology needed for renovations, diy, and similar situations. Just have a look at our Wiki on cooking terminology in "Il Buongustaio" Circle. It may be very helpful.
