Hi Ronald,I am having problems again. This time when I click on the link 'mark all as read', it says 'mark all content as read', but the posts are still showing on the page. I do like to clear the page even though I don't read every post as some
Have just brought back a bottle of Limoncello from my hols. Can someone tell me that once opened, how long will it keep in the fridge? Have to say that this is the first time I have sampled this liquer and it certainly has a kick to it

Am going on holiday to Sardinia, Alghero in September. Is there anyone here who has been there and can they recommend places to visit of interest ? Many thanks.
This is very sad news. I always admired Carole for her immense knowledge on all things Italian and her willingness to help members with their many questions. May she rest in peace.
Going back to the original posting, civility to other people and their postings whether you may agree with their point of views or not can only be a good and positive thing. People can still be friendly and have different opinions. I certainly would be put off posting if this site degenerated like the old site did on numerous occasions. I may not post that often, but would definitely be encouraged to if people would just lighten up a bit and post in a light hearted way and agree to disagree!
Hi Ronald.I am finding that the 'mark all as read' button does not appear to be working. When I click on it, the posts are all still there. Can you please check this out for me? Many thanks.
Welcome John and Toni. What a lovely way to find yourselves a holiday home. The views look stunning and I don't blame you for not wanting to stay there permanently. Your post has made me smile for the second time this morning. First time, because the sun is shining here in London. Ciao.
Here in the UK I have a catalogue which is advertising late season ( second crop ) new potatoes which you can plant now straight into the ground and will be ready from late October. They also state to leave some in the ground undisturbed so you can harvest them for Christmas Day! Perhaps your local garden centre can be of help? Good luck!
Hi Russ, many thanks for starting up this group. Although I do not live in Italy, I am always interested in hearing views about the wildlife in Italy. I am especially interested in different bird species, so if anyone has birds visiting their gardens on a regular basis, I would love to hear from them on here.
