Has anyone seen the unbelievable deals with Hertz. Go to Hertz main page, click specials offers, then click deals by the day and then select their new offer "save 25%,book in advance", cheapest prices ive ever seen.
Hi Eastburn, im just down the road from you in Castelforte, theres a waste disposal company here called "Ambroselli", there office is in Suio, they hire out skips,(much bigger than the english type) around 2.5mx5m last time i used one about 18mths ago it was around €350...
Eastburn, I'm not far from you in cassino just down the road at Formia actually, there are loads of shops for kitchens and bathrooms in and around cassino and San Giorgio a liri, cost is around the same, but if you travel a bit further (mondo convienza etc) you will find they are cheaper !....
Last couple of years used EBC.com euro breakdown with green flag, cost £45. i had cause to use them last year, for the first time !, and they were excellent and very helpful and gave me several different ways to choose from to get me home. 1st class service with a smile.
Had a similar problem recently trying to log-on to Enel online, would not accept my C/F, found that the supposed zero was actually the letter o....double check all digits and letters.
Alan, Any chance you could give a more detailed route, I'm travelling over in a few weeks time, from Calais, thinking of going the Reims- Metz route down through switzerland but your route looks good, I'd like to be able to put it in the TomTom to compere, Would it be easier to sail direct to Dunkirk ?. Had my Lloyds bank card declined at Ciampino a few weeks ago, At the Hertz desk. Although i had pre-booked my hire car a week or so earlier it declined when hertz tried to take a deposit with the same card, you would think that Lloyds would be able to work out that if i booked a hire car with hertz a week before, that their anti-fraud programme could recognise that car hire companys also take a deposit,( with the same card),on the day of rental. Anyway phoned the number on the back of card, spoke to the anti-fraud dept, Explained the situation, that i was actually the person trying to use the card in Ciampino, card re-activated in seconds to my great relief.
