Hi, I am trying to find a wine tour in the Lecce area and wondered if anyone could recomend one. The ones I have seen online tend to just go to 2 vineyards and I want to go to at least 4 and smaller vineyards. Many thanks
InternetHi, we have a holdiay home in Italy and have a Mobile Wi-Fi device from Vodaphone which we use for internet. When we arrive in Italy we just go into the store and buy a top up for the device.
No that is not going to be easy. The forms we filled in originally were given to us by the Italian Embassy in the US and we just filled them in so I have no idea what forms they were. Do you think this is all necessary as I will not change my name and all our bills and the bank account is in my married name. I know Italian women use there maiden name but I have never been told I have to use mine as it is not something we normally do in the UK.
That is interesting to know Ugo. When I applied for my CF I was living in the US, I am from the UK, and it is in my married name. If I divorce my husband though I will keep my married name so I wonder if that makes a difference. Also when we purchased our home amost 10 years ago our estate agent said they could not do the CF we had to obtain it.
When we purchased our property we had to have a Codice Fiscale and we had to do this ourselves by going to an Italian Embassy as we didnt live in Italy. Do you not have to do that or do you already have one?
I love Turin but it cant compete with the other 3. We go skiing in Aosta and it is beautiful. You wont mess it up as the whole area is very different. Where are you based?
It sounds good and I will show my husband incase he has any other suggestions. My husband is not a huge Barolo fan so we concentrated on Barbaresco. Tell your wife I am not a wine drinker or really interested in buying wine but the one day wine tour we organised was perfect. The guy not only took us to the vineyards he showed us a few towns and gave us some good pointers. Are you in that area for longer? Will you go to Turin?
We have been to that region in the last 2 years and are going again this September. The first year we stayed at the Ada Nada and it was great. There is so much to see and do around that area and it is so beautiful. The first year we organised a guide for a day and had a really good wine tour which included some great sighteeing. Last year and this year we have organised our own wine tour for the day and will go to one of the castles near Turnin for another day. If you need and details then please let me know. You will certainly have a woderful time.
Hi, We have a holiday home on Lake Orta and it is so beautiful. We usually fly to either of the airports in Milan and rent a car so I have never used train or taxi. Will you not have a car while you are there? While Orta San Giulio is great it is very small so you will need a car to get to the other places. Even our Italian neighbours wont use the buses. If you need any info then message me. Sue

Good reason to keep my present husband :) You have been really helpful though.

Thanks, so do you think I should change mine as it is in my married name? Is it easy to change?
