HI Clombardelli Who did you use to ship the furniture? We have a property in Bagni di Lucca and we are looking for garden/pool furniture.I have followed your link and the furniture does look very nice. Thanks
Really this is not the place for personal attacks maybe a few people shoild take a deep breath, think about the things that are being said and realise how highly inappropriate this behaviour is. This behaviour really is not going to help to improve the vibrancy of the forum in fact it will probably put people off contributing at all.
Hi everyone, i am in a similar position to alma, I do not post very often as we have only fairly recently purchased a property in northern tuscany and live in the uk for most of the year so really I have very little to add concerning our experiences in Italy that has not been covered in depth by other members of the forum.I do however really enjoy reading the posts placed by others and find them on the whole very informative, many of my questions have been answered by searching the database.I do feel rather guilty and I will try to post more frequently - I must say that Gala must be congratulated by her quality of posting, she is always helpful and is a mine of information on many varied topics -well done.
We have a property recently renovated in the Bagni di Lucca area, we are still compiling a list of favourite restaurants, does anyone have any recommendations?thanks
We have just returned from Bagni di Lucca, we are thinking of putting in a pool and made a few enquiries. We were asked if we wanted a salt water pool or a chlorinated pool. Does anyone have an opinion regarding the merits of a salt water pool versus a chlorinated pool? Thanks for any opinions/experiences in this matter
Hi, We are hoping to spend our first summer holiday in our property just above Bagni di Lucca in a few weeks time. We are really looking forward to it as it has taken us 3 years to complete the renovations! Giancarlo and Barabara who own Geocasanet Immobiliare which is just next to the Devils Bridge have been a great help with our house purchase and renovations. Giancarlo has also helped us with the planning applications for a swimming pool, as I understand regulations are quite strict in the area regarding the installation of a pool. We are hoping to look at a few pools and get a few quotes with Giancarlos help on our next trip, so I will be able to tell you how we get on. We are really looking forward to a few shopping trips to furnish our property and the advice from this site has been so useful. Hope this helps

Hi, Thanks for the tips, saffie
We also used Casatuscany and found them to be very good, very helpful both in the UK and through their agents in Bagni di lucca.
