Our friend was stopped by a policeman yesterday in her car.
Hmm. I'm terribly sorry about this post, partly as it makes me look disorganised and rubbish. Basically, I agreed to help someone move house in the Appignano area, on 26 April. My diary for that day reads: "Appignano removal, Teresa".
My mate Neil is about to drag the van and I up to Obi, in order to puchase a concrete mixer. But he'd much rather buy one second-hand, for obvious reasons.
Buongiorno Are there any members of forum living in the Civitanova/Morrovale/Montelupone/Potenza Picena sector? While I'm very aware that one's social network should be extended primarily into the local community I have a slight dilemma.
Goodness. In an effort to prove to the world that a motoring journalist can change its spots I just started a food writing blog, with a tenuously Italian twist, given current Marchegiana residence.
Hope all's well.
Phil's delivering furniture and stuff again. Leaving Le Marche Oct 16th to the UK, returning 21st.
When booking flights via Ryanair, I found that departure from some airports are cheaper than the others. I'm going back to the UK next week and the cheapest flight from Ancona (single/one-way) is about €200 excluding taxes.
My post regarding business website building has been deleted. Apologies for not knowing the rules. Tsk!Tsk! Naughty corner for thee...
A recent job prompts this post. We have just transported a gate to Le Marche for a client, which he purchased from the company listed below.

Go Belgium, Germany, Austria. France is EXTREMELY heavy on tolls (so much so that I have to charge a supplement to French clients) and the time difference is minimal. Germany's Autobahnen are toll-free, very good indeed and their rest stops are okay. You could also go past Koblenz. Timing this right, make into town and have coffee or beer at the wonderful biergarten where the Rhine and Mosel meet, before heading south. Two advices however - go to the loo before having a coffee in a German motorway stop, as they charge you 0.5 Euros. They then issue you with a 0.5 Euro discount for a coffee. Crazy Churmans, ja? Also, take enough food to get you through Germany. While French and Italian Autogrills are a delight with affordable, fresh and lovely nosh etc, the German version is terrible in this respect. Little Chef quality and prices, all tasting of that curry sauce you get on kebabs in the UK. Take much water too, as it's hot out there at the moment. Once you're in Italy, stop at the first Autogrill you can find, brave the casino of the cassa and muscle at the bar for your panino and coffee. Benvenuto, buon viaggio and buon appetito. E arrivato!
Please could you email us on philipwhite7@googlemail.com with the following details: (1) Number and sizes of boxes (2) Colection and delivery addresses I'm having problems with the "messages" site on the forum. Thanks, Alan H, for thinking of us. And thanks again to our repeat cutomers. Philip R, glad you're happy with the gate. Thanks for the free red wine which we'll be downing watching the worlcup finals (shame we're out!). See you next week, Lona, for your stuff. Andrew J, we'll see you tomorrow to deliver your rugby shields. Cheers guys... Joy
Lycopene is the anti-oxidant component. Yes, hopefully the italian research goes ahead since the USFDA (US food and drug administration) refuted that lycopene prevented prostate cancer. As with anything else, take in moderation.
20% VAT increase according to the new chancellor from January 2011. Scary. Might just have to live in our van, and park it at an allotment or something.
Head-shaking-with-a-bit-of-chuckle activity, all round the household here the when article was read. Interesting indeed. Quite scary too...

Hi Pauline, How are you? Have you tried contacting language schools in Leeds? I know Spanish schools are quite popular near the university, and I'm guessing there must be an Italian school in the area. Maybe even ask the people running the Spanish schools if they know someone? My Spanish friends write and speak fluent Italian, but they've now dispersed around the globe so sorry if I can't be of any help. Good luck and see you soon... Regards, Joy and Phil
Hi Andrew, Thanks for thinking of us. We can bring your shields over, no doubt. Will get my husband to pm you when he's back from a delivery. Cheers, Joy
We are extremely happy to have been able to collect and deliver your items. Thank you for breakfast, lunch, and the olive oil that you've given us. It's wonderful to know hospitable and wonderful clients like you. We've started our little website (very basic which will need a few tweaks) to make our business official. Looking forward to get our Codice Fiscale tomorrow. Please spread the word around. Our website is philipwhitefreight.tk We'll be in the UK in July, so let us know how we can help. All the best, Joy and Phil
Looking forward to take part in this, now that we're in Italy now.
