Anyone know of any wi-fi hotspots in Northern Le Marche, ideally near Corinaldo?
We have a holiday home in Corinaldo. We don't have a landline. This summer my husband is having to work during our so-called holiday which means we need internet access at home.
The website tells me javascript isn't enabled on my browser but it is - I've checked. My browser is Mozilla Firefox; is this a common problem with them?
Ciao a tutti! I have been coming to Corinaldo for nearly 20 years now; we have a holiday home there.

Yes, Senigallia and its beaches are well worth visiting. Do have a look at the old town as well, and my favourite place in Le Marche is Corinaldo, a historic hill-town just a short drive inland from Senigallia. Walk round the walls which are the best preserved in the region, and enjoy the views, the food and drink, the quaint alleyways, grand houses ... Lots of other places worth visiting nearby.
Try the Marche region. It's less well-known but because of that is quieter and has retained its traditional local character. It also has sun, sea, beaches, mountains, historic hill towns, great art ... Have a look at the Marche section of this website.

We have a holiday home in Le Marche and you'll find something here on the ups and downs of home ownership in Italy http://wp.me/pp7NI-9i
I'm glad I was able to help a bit. For a short, mild winter I think you need to look farther south, though you will miss out on the gracious landscape and people of Le Marche. In the meantime, here are a couple of posts to give you an idea of life in Corinaldo outside the winter season.http://alysb.wordpress.com/2014/06/30/corinaldo-a-personal-take/http://alysb.wordpress.com/2014/06/23/return-to-corinaldo-continued/
With 2 grandchildren and a 92-yr-old mother we don't intend to retire full time to Italy. It is cold, wet and sometimes snowy in Corinaldo in winter. Judging by the communal e-newsletter it is quite lively. Halloween is a big festa there. We know a few non -Italians who have made their home there and they are happy. Hope this helps.
Mine is Corinaldo, someone else likes Sarnano, someone else loves Belvedere Ostrense but thinks Arcevia is more beautiful
I know I have to pay the IMU but how do I calculate it? The Commune won't help, they just refer me to a page that doesn't work.
At the moment I find myself fascinated by the Montefeltro family as patrons of the arts and am trying to sort out the myth from the reality.
