10375 Limoncello In Hand Luggage???

I see from the BBC news website just now that Paul Charles of Virgin Atlantic is calling for the liquids allowance in hand luggage to be revised, given the end of the trial of three men who were convicted if terror charges.

I really don't mind the restrictions providing it makes travel safer. You can easily fit in your needs for a couple of days within current restrictions. As for "limoncello".... perhaps you should start making it at home, Sally, it is not difficult providing you can find untreated lemons....

Untreated lemons??? London, no problem!!! However I'm thinking of the lovely packaged bottles to give as presents.

Restrictions on liquids aren't for security. They're part of the "security theatre" to reassure passengers.

After all, if 500ml of liquid explosive can destroy an airliner (which it can), then five 100ml containers should be forbidden (which they aren't).
