The Winter Olympics begin tomorrow in Sochi, Russia.
The outfits worn by the athletes at the Olympic Games are usually made by leading designers, and often subject to scrutiny.
In the picture, on the left, you can see the suits designed by Kappa: blue (in fact, Italian athletes are often called “gli azzurri”), with a broad white stripe and the first three letters of the word Italia.
The entire sports kit and formalwear ensembles are supplied by none other than Giorgio Armani. In the photo, on the right, you can see the Olympic team’s jacket: a navy blue gear, with the national flag reproduced in the hood of the jacket, combined with white.
We think the outfits look nice and stylish – after all, Italians are known for their fashion style in every occasion!
