Car lovers looking for something more luxurious than the Gucci special edition Fiat 500 won’t have to wait long for their own designer collaboration. Next month Maserati will debut a GranCabrio customized by Fendi in Frankfurt.
The exclusive edition Maserati will come in ‘Grigio Fiamma Fendi,’ a paint color developed by designers at the Italian fashion house that appears dark gray with an iridescent finish. Similar to Gucci’s Fiat, the GranCabrio Fendi will feature the brand’s signature “F” logo on the wheels.
The luxury that is synonymous with Italian design continues inside the car as well. The interior of the car is trimmed in dark wood and features leather from Fendi’s Selleria line.
No word on the price, but Maserati is throwing in two matching suitcases covered in the same intricately patterned leather as the cabin’s interior.
