Temperatures are dropping everywhere in Italy and, although it is not officially winter yet, the cold season seems to have arrived. So, to welcome you to the new season, this week we teach you how to say winter in Italian: inverno.
If you want to talk about the many winters you would rather be spending somewhere warm and sunny, you would use the plurals, inverni.
The winter season is la stagione invernale.
