New Oldie

Hi everyone.  I  used to be a member under the old system and although I didn't post very often I found a lot of useful information on the various posts.  We fell in love with Italy after our daughter spent a year in Scicily as an exchange student and we came to visit her.  Over the years of our membership my husband and I bought a house near Gualdo in Le Marche.  The purchase and mortgage arrangements were completed with no difficulties or hiccups.  Last year though I had an accident at our house and ended up spending 8 days in hospital in Macerata.  The treatment I received was very good and although the nursing was good it was very different to my experiences in UK and Australia.  We live at the moment in Montreal but expect to relocate to Bahrain next year, which at least is a little closer to Italy I think!  I look forward to being a part of the community.
