My daughter is getting married on Sun 30th Sept in Lucca. Has anyone the name of a good wedding planner that we could liaise with. We will be travelling out in May to check out a few wedding locations.

Well, nearly at the end of our  build and down to the nitty gritty bits. It seems that the venerable (and very ugly) corrugated iron garage that was on site when we bought is not acceptable. Does anybody want one - assuming it is alright for them to have one?  We think our builder might be looking at it but would welcome any other interest.

I thought I introduce myself properly as I've already posted. First of all a HUGE THANK YOU to all those who have replied to my earlier post.

I was born in Italy by Italian parents but have been living in UK for past 30 years, save for very brief return to Italy and stop over in the US some years back.

I have two children who are grown up (or so they tell me :D LoL); my son who's been out of university since last year and on a relentless job hunt (like all graduates at the moment!), and my daughter who will sit A levels this coming May & June.

The EU Proposal for a Regulation on Wills and Succession had its first reading in the EU Parliament on 13th March 2012. On its way to becoming law soon....Once the law is passed, rules for succession in all member states (except UK and Denmark) will be law of your habitual residence unless you have made a will expressly stating that you wish the law of your nationality to apply.
