Revenue again.

The other day our post lady delivered me a registered letter from Roma.it was from the ministero delle entrate...revenue again.As usual it was ,to say the least, almost incomprehensible .From what little one could glean it was concerning their "studi del settore" described as an inquitous even by the current minister of finance.studi del settore basically means "they tell you what you have earnt" they have engaged an extraordinarily complex new software aptly named Jerico applying this to other studies cluster groups etc in order to do this.Having already had a "run in" with revenue i rushed to see my commercialista ready also to accuse them of not having looked after my interests.as it turned out they (revenue) have sent out this mystical circular to over 4.000.000 small businesses and professionals around the country using the threat of non conformity with the studi del settori as a weapon to attempt to increase dropping taxes.Should anyone be self employed or have a small business you may well receive one if you haven't already. so sharpen your knives and speak quickly to your tax advisor because it concerns also this years unico 2009.
