We have the opportunity to buy a garage

We have the opportunity to buy a garage for the apartment we own in northern Italy. Do you think it's important to have a garage if in the future we want to sell ? There is ample storage in the apartment so it would only be needed for a car which you have to have because of where we are. There is alternative outside parking. Any opinions would be really helpful !

well although you may not need it yourselves, think of resale - if tourists buy they may want to get about, and have a safe place for their car - also for locals they may need it to get about to work etc. I would say yes having just got an apartment with no parking and am looking for a garage or somewhere to leave a car so we don't have to hire every time we visit.
