Can anyone advise please, our UK TV which we bought over here appears to have given up the ghost (we get Sky Italia through it). Its sound is fine but the picture is just a thin bright line.

Very nice house, and and so well presented, village houses are usually such good value, and popular, I can think of of at least 6 that have been sold around this area of Marche in the last few years, one only a few weeks ago, so good luck!.
Depending on where the door vents to, why not just have it made not flush to the floor but with a gap to comply with regulations?
You dont seem to say where you are buying RitaRuth, I know of a good guy in Marche who has steered friends through the buying process and done all translations for them when an agent was not involved.
For a meat-less lasgne, I use fresh lasgne, home-made tomato sauce, and for the filling ricotta and spinach, layer starting with the tomato sauce, and finish with tomato sauce and a mozzerella topping, no bechamel, makes a much lighter dish and takes minutes to assemble. Bake at 170 for approx 30mins. (frozen spinach is a good alternative to fresh).
With Al and Penny in the small minority group!.And can think of numerous friends in the same position.
I am with you on that one Allan. Getting very hot here in Marche now, temp due to hit 40c. Oh well by the middle of August it will start to cool down again.!
Now that has thrown me into confusion rosietat, am resident but not citizan, and had understood that UK will applied.
Yes it will be open July and August, the only time we envisage it being closed is in the winter....the building is too expensive to heat then, but I guess we could always open by appointment.
For what its worth, we were initially issued with a Tessera sanitaria for 5years (from Fermo) and now we have both just received cards with an end date of 2017. Seems to be no rhyme or reason, unless it was generated by our comune when we applied for permenant residency. Cannot make meeting tonight, hope you get some satisfaction at last.
Try it again Flip, head against brick wall I think. Its not difficult, pay your tax, wherever it is due, qualify for health care if it is appropriate, there is no quick easy way to avoid what is rightly payable. If you thought the Inland revenue were scarey, you havent yet met the Italian finance police. Rant over.
