Hi I've got a query - can anyone help? We have been travelling in Italy since Sept 1st in a camper van UK registered with UK road tax. This runs out 30th november.
Can anyone advise please, our UK TV which we bought over here appears to have given up the ghost (we get Sky Italia through it). Its sound is fine but the picture is just a thin bright line.

Thanks Anne, not the Marche we know now, will read it again in the morning.
And so you did Alan, now that I have reread your post, apologies for suggesting that you didnt! or wouldnt!.Obviously I am over excited by lotans post and cannot see the wood from the trees.
Just a question for Alan, why should you not pay your speeding fine?, we did, we live in Italy and Robert was rushing our cat to the emergencey vet on New Years day, why should you be exempt from this. ? It really doesnt help when visitors think its clever to evade the law.
Possibly your use of language, does not add to a reasonable debate, doubt that anyone would welcome being called a "moron"....shame really, and the use of the word "inflame" as in a debate is indicative that your intention is meant to upset? And your assumption that Brits cannot "hack it" is off line, many of the people who have taken the trouble to reply to you have been here rather longer than your assumed 3 yrs........
And having a jolly good giggle on the sidelines Joy!.
Totally agree with you re the moaning and groaning , is it a British failing?.Hope your post generates an interesting debate. But am sorry that such a high percentage return to the UK, Italy isnt for everyone, and as you are probably aware from past posts on the subject the essence is in the planning. We have lived here for 5 years now and would never want to return.

Thanks for posting the link Keith, I put it on fb. So only 18% think its OK now. A more realistic view of what Italians think, and representative of hopefully the way in which animal welfare is moving ahead in this country.....I always said they were lousy shots!
Saw it on fb Penny, shocking and disgusting.
Think your homemade in brackets says it all Al, very few soups to be found in supermarkets around here in Marche, people tend to make their own, and whilst Heinz baked beans might make people long for comfort food the thought of Heinz tomato soup probably sets them running for the stock pot!....biased I know just have awful memories of having it for lunch as a child ....every Saturday.....boh!....for years!
