  Hi I wish your wife a speedy recovery. Just a thought, rather than buy to let in Italy, which seems especially if you may not have the language skills a difficult operation , that you buy and let in the UK?, where from friends experiences there does seem to be a demand for properties. I do like Tartuffas idea of giving it a trail run before you and your family commit yourselves, best wishes and good luck with all the research. A

  Interesting Jane, when we came over our vet said no calming drugs, the animal can become too sedated and then may vomit, with devastating results, especially if travelling by air in the hold. Our 3 cats just went into stupor mode, and were fine but subdued. Other friends have had the cats sitting on their knees as thay drove down, too scary, it depends on the animal, but I would be concerned re sedation. A

  Hi Macs If you get out of Force, in the snow!, then the Presepe Vivente in Piano di Falerone on the bottom road near to Servigliano is not to be missed, 26th of Jan starting about 5ish, and then if you are hungry try booking dinner at the Angeli Ribelli in Monte Vidon close by. tel 0734 759773 or 331 81114647 for great pizza and atmosphere.
